“I’m going to spare everyone the rough draft of this that led to a point and just get to the point.
For the love of god, can we start prosecuting people who put up YouTube videos that consist of them FILMING their television screen? This is one of the craziest things that people do on a regular basis. I mean, I get it, bootlegging is fun, and if you don’t believe me, just ask any of the many bootleg Bart Simpsons.
Shut the hell up and get out of my way, you idiot indeed!
The thing is, it’s not even the bootlegging that I’m upset by. It’s the clicking on something and then finding out it was filmed in the worst possible way. Does ANYONE click on these and then say, “Well, this is a version of “Thriller” that comes from a mono TV into a handheld iPhone, but hey whatever”? Is anyone down with this?
