-Increased frequency of complaints about how establishments don’t often enough have hat racks for a man’s fedora these days.
-Deeper appreciation and understanding of tweed.

-Lots of conversational statements starting and beginning with the word “actually”. (Example, “Actually, I play the clarinet.” Or “It’s not that bad, actually.”)
-Current level of respect for myself as a result of playing the clarinet version of the Top Gun theme in middle school takes a dive.
-More time spent looking up clarinet players online after an embarrassing incident where someone said, “Oh yeah? Name 5 famous clarinet players then.”
-Unread issues of some sort of clarinet world magazine littering the apartment after a relative makes a misguided attempt to get me a gift that’s up my alley.
-Newfound familiarity with what exactly goes on at Rotary, Elks Lodges, and the like.
