“It should’ve ended on the story of the dude who’d been meeting Morpheus every 100 years. That was a much stronger ending. That dude was probably Morpheus’ only friend, and I think his arc is WAY more compelling than ending on that Shakespeare stuff.

Let’s look at these two stories:
You’ve got a guy who’s been alive since the 1400’s maybe? And he’s in modern times, attending a renfest, and he’s finding out about the death of his supernatural friend, who’s not really his friend, but the supernatural guy didn’t have friends, so this is as close as it gets.
Or you’ve got Shakespeare writing The Tempest with maybe or maybe not a little muse help from the same supernatural guy, who is not dead yet because this is a flashback.
