Okay, again, please don’t read this if you don’t want the entire Dark Tower series spoiled, because that’s going to happen, maybe.

I read this first book, then I went to the wikipedia page for the movie because I wanted to find out whether the movie was based on the first book or all the books, whether I could watch it after reading this book or whether I should wait. And in the early paragraphs of the entry, before shit gets serious, it’s revealed that Roland’s quest is cyclical, which is apparently something that comes out near the end of the series.

Here’s what I need to know: is this super important information that kind of fucks up the reading experience, or does knowing this do me very little harm in terms of reading the series? The problem is, I know the information, I know the spoiler, but I don’t know enough about the context here to know how crucial the spoiler is.

The question is whether I should be SUPER PISSED at whoever edits that page, or should I just be medium pissed and put the energy I would spend berating someone into reading the series.

Help?”
