There’s nothing like fresh veggies, locally grown and sold at your local farmer’s market.  You can truly taste the freshness.
  But also, burgers are pretty good.  Here’s how to make burgers.

Soup is the perfect warm-up on a cold winter evening, as a side or even a main course.  Snuggle up, grab a spoon, and then throw that shit in the trash can because we’re making burgers.  Now.

My grandmother kept her pasta sauce recipe a total secret until the day she died.  After she passed our whole family descended on her home to take whatever wasn’t nailed down.  And even some things that were.  All I wanted, the only thing I was looking for, was that recipe.  My brother cleaned out all the antique furniture, but I kept going through kitchen cabinets.  While my aunt turned jewelry drawers upside-down into a duffel bag I was fanning cookbooks to see if any index cards might just flutter out.
  My grandmother never gave up her secret recipe.  And then all the other shit was gone.  So yeah.  Here’s how to make hamburgers.
