I don’t know what I thought it meant. Something super clever about the situations and lives of girls? I guess “Newsies” was taken.
10 issues deep and it’s still pretty unclear what the fuck is going on. There’s time travel, maybe, and some sort of plan to capture teen girls or something? Kind of an Akira, “Their youth is their greatest weapon” thing going on?
I’ll keep reading. It’s fast-moving enough to keep me going, but I’d like to get into the story pretty soon. It’s hard to describe…things are happening, but the pieces don’t fit together yet, and I’m banking that they will. And they’d better. Oh, they’d better, Brian K. Vaughan.
