“Oblivion Song, Vol. 1”

“I can dig it, we’ve got a premise, we’ve got characters who make sense, and it feels like we’re getting into this story at the right time for an apocalyptic sort of thing: after the inciting incident, and as things start to get figured out and become more interesting.

I will say there’s a Walking Dead element to this of “a life of survival is more meaningful than a life of modern existence.” Which I would probably end up agreeing with until I had a cavity, and then I’d be like, “Fuck it, back to the world where I work and do pointless nonsense on a computer.””
