There will be a secret podcast recorded here in the next couple weeks. It will not be on the regular feed, it will not be on iTunes. The only way to get it is via a direct link from me. It’ll be a little different, and I think it will be pretty revealing.
Now, a lot of shows would make you pay them money, or make you buy some sexy/gross shit from adamandeve.com, or maybe buy some weird thing that goes over your stove and turns it into a grill somehow. Not us, friends.
Instead, all you have to do is mention us on Twitter, Facebook, or wherever you do mentioning of shit to shitty people*.
The truth is, this is a lot of goddamn work. A lot, a lot. And it will be easier to do if there are more people who have a stake in it. To put it in perspective:
Recording show: 1.5 hrs X 20 = 30
Editing/Posting Show: 3 hrs X 20 = 60
General Troubleshooting: 1 hr X 20 = 20
Cost of setup (in regular job hours) = 80
Total: 190 hours
190 Hours = 11400 minutes
If I’m being generous, it’ll take three minutes to make a posting about us, which means:
3 / 11400 = .0002% of the time spent making this show better needs to come from you.
Okay, I know a lot of you may not have Facebook or Twitter. I also know that a lot of you don’t own a brown belt and a black one. The point is, there are things that you should own because it’s really no trouble and will come in handy some day.
I’m not charging for anything, and I don’t ever really want to. I don’t think it’s that good yet. But if you think it’s good enough that you can spend a little time putting it out there for other people, then you can get a little extra piece of it.
