A Very Short List of Excuses I Would Accept as Explanation for Why This Ice Cream Sandwich is So Tiny

1.  Someone has developed a shrink ray and decided to first try it out on ice cream sandwiches, then Rick Moranis, then release it to the world.

2.  Someone has developed a density-increasing ray, so although this ice cream sandwich appears unacceptably small, it is so tightly packed that it satisfies on the level of a much larger ice cream sandwich.

I could go on, but just understand that each scenario involves the creation of some kind of ray that definitely does not exist at this juncture.
