Those Plaques at the Art Museum

037: The painting hanging before you is in a rectangular shape.  It is covered in paints.  It represents some political event you’ve never heard of, except for the flower on the right side.  That’s a vagina.

248: This piece was commissioned by some rich guy because he felt like the artist, an unstable loon, would benefit from a steady gig.  He painted this scene of the docks on the east coast.  Also, those sea plants washed up in the beach represent a vagina.

665: This stirring work is one of the artist’s finest.  This close-up picture of a vagina was meant to disturb the senses, and some say that it feeds into man’s desire to step through the painting and back into the womb.  It was painted with crushed up flowers in the paint, flowers which represented smaller, more reasonable vaginas.
