So, great news today. Your friend and the friend of my panini (circa 1999) Tyra Banks has a big announcement:
Tyra Banks is writing her own fantasy novel.
And no, the fantasies do not involve being famous for no apparent reason.

First off, thanks a shitload for telling me how to pronounce the name of the book that you haven’t written yet. That is need to know info. Especially since the pronounciation isn’t clear from, I don’t know, being able to read and look at things with eyes. Especially especially since you ran two already-existing words together to make a word. Without your genius, I would be lost.

Great. Nothing like beautiful teens with powers. How come there are no morbidly obese, weak-willed, hideous, acne-scarred people who have powers? How come all the hot people get all the powers?
And by the way, for all the hot people who spend time reading internet blogs, BEING HOT IS A POWER.
Personally, I can’t wait for the first installment of Modelland. What? First installment? Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that there are 3 (that’s THREE) volumes of this wonderful series coming out.

This one is a little confusing until you realize it’s happening all over her message board. Apparently Tyra fans aren’t really good with the computer and just type in their contact names right in with the body of the text. Fantastic.

So, the good news is I will be funneling to all of you “Tips and Tricks” provided by Tyra. What these are, what they pertain to, and how they could possibly apply to a normal person are beyond me.
