“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin”

“I’m not sure if this is a great book or not, but I was of the age where I saw TMNT in theaters, watched the cartoon religiously, and ate a bunch of frozen pot pies to get a plush ninja turtle in the mail. So this one pushes those nostalgia buttons pretty hard, and the significance of the last ronin being [redacted] hits hard. If you were a big turtlehead, I think you’ll dig this. If you weren’t, it might not read the same.

I also really dug the flashbacks being done in the Eastman/Laird visual style. That was a nice touch.”
