“Scalped, Vol. 1: Indian Country (Scalped, #1)”

“I’m gonna stick with it, but so far it didn’t blow my skirt up or anything.

I just tried to look up the origin of “doesn’t blow my skirt up,” and all I found was a bunch of jerkoffs explaining what it means. I KNOW what it means. I want to know where it came from.

I suppose it’s possible it’s from that Marilyn Monroe movie. I don’t know a whole lot about Marilyn Monroe, although if you go to the flea market, the Latino community has hardcore embraced her for whatever reason, and you can buy t-shirts and blankets emblazoned with her image, but with a bunch of added tattoos and wearing midriff-bearing shirts and busting a sag.

Point being, I hope gangsters pick up the phrase and start throwing in a “that doesn’t blow my skirt up, homes” here and there. “
