“I made a mistake with this series. A dire mistake.
I took too long to read the last volume, fell out of love with the characters and pretty much forgot what the hell was going on.
Totally my fault, and I definitely regret it.
I have to say, lately I’m very tempted to read series after they’re finished for this very reason. I think that, had I read this all at once, I would have loved it dearly and put it on top of some personal lists.
Let’s be fair to me for a second. This is a series spread over 5 years. That’s a long-ass time for a single story arc.
Okay, I understand that there are series that go longer, that a ton of fantasy series, for example, run over longer spans. A Game Of Thrones came out in 1996. If 5 years is a long-ass time, this is…who is the most recent celebrity who is seemingly coasting on butt-based fame? J.Lo was the person at one time, then there was a Kardashian or two in there. Is there a current butt queen? Is Nicki Minaj butt famous or regular famous with a detour in Buttville? I feel like she had some legitimate tracks at some point, but maybe I’m thinking of someone else?
